You can show off your inspiring home fall decor style and up-cycle liquor bottles at the same time! If you don’t have access to any liquor/wine bottles, I will also show how to use Dollar Tree bottles to achieve a similar look. (There is a freebie waiting for you at the bottom of this post!)
Here is your materials list (download here):
After gathering the bottles I wanted to use, I needed to wash them and remove the labels. I just used soap, water, and Goo Gone.
Next was to decide how I wanted to finish each bottle. I spray painted one off-white and one copper, I used twine on another, and just a band of ribbon on the last one. Check out the Facebook Live I did by clicking the link below. We have a mini video during the Live that shows a close up demonstration of this.
For the “Fall” letters, I used burlap leaves from Dollar Tree and jute. I just shaped the letters with the jute and used hot glue to secure them on the leaves and the bottles. I added some fall foliage for the final touch!
AND, if you really don’t want to put that much effort into doing the bottles this way, we have you covered! Here is the link to the Facebook Live I mentioned above: Fall Inspired Wine Bottles. I use Dollar Tree colored bottles in this episode! We also have put together a freebie of the “FALL” letters so all you have to do is print and cut them out, and attach to the colored bottles. It really couldn’t be easier to achieve beautiful fall decor!
Happy Crafting!
